Soy & Garlic Chicken Breasts
Soy & Garlic Chicken is a quick to assemble dinner that wakes up your tastebuds. You can use any cut of chicken you have on hand, I used skinless / boneless Chicken breasts since this is what I already had in the freezer. The great thing about the breast meat is that it will not only cut down on your prep time, but also allows you to quickly convert the leftovers to a "salad" for another quick dinner variation!
This only took me about 10 minutes to prep ~ a great time saver during the week when your time is limited. Add a little cooked rice and some sauteed veggies and you are set!
Ingredients:
6 Chicken Breasts
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Honey
3 Tbsp Lemon Juice
3 Tbsp grated garlic
5-6 whole cloves
** If you are cooking on the grill, allow the chicken to marinate in the fridge for about an hour, then you can remove the glaze and cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes and use as a glaze to coat when the meat is pulled off the grill.
Preheat your oven to 325
Bake for 30 - 45 minutes until the strips are done and the glaze is about 1/2 cooked down.
Serve with Rice and a side of Veggies. Mandarin oranges go great with this!
Do you want a quick meal or lunch for tomorrow? Take a few of the strips, Make a romaine lettuce salad with your favorite toppings and dice up the strips and serve with fresh parmesean cheese.

Mix all ingredients except chicken, together in a bowl and stir.
Cut the chicken breasts into 3-4 strips each, long ways OR if you want to cook on the grill leave them whole. Lay the strips in a 10 * 13 baking dish and then pour over the marinade
