Adoptable Rescue Dogs

I would like to start off by saying I do not typically post "public service announcements" on my blog. But then I had a chance encounter with someone and their rescue shelter, it made me wonder.... WHY NOT? The name of the rescue is Heavenly Bundles Rescue and they are located in Dry Branch Georgia. The work these volunteers do is just amazing. As a matter of fact it astonishes me how much of their time and effort they put into saving animals in high kill shelters through out Georgia. From adorable little puppies, some not even weaned to dogs who have come in because there owners could not or would not take care of them, or perhaps they were dumped out of a car, for some their owners were arrested, others were simply picked up as a stray. This amazing group of volunteers LOVE the animals unconditionally and do not rest until they have found a suitable home for each of their babies! They certainly have had quite a collection of breeds come through their doors. From Chihuahua to Greyhound mixes and every size, shape and color in between! They pick them up, take them to the vet, clean them up and LOVE them unconditionally. Do yourself a favor, if you have been looking for your next family member and you live in the area check them out. Even if you do not need another furry friend, you could always help to network their dogs, or perhaps even donate items they may need. Ie: newspapers, baby wipes, bowls, puppy food etc.
If you live outside of the Georgia area do not assume that you cannot adopt from them. There are many transporters who help move animals state to state, some at little to no cost for rescue groups.
